This year has no doubt been full of revelries for us here at The Linen Works and November proves no exception. We are absolutely thrilled to announce our partnership with Selfridges & Co to present an exclusive Patterned Linen Tea Towel that forms part of the department store's first-ever collection of own-brand kitchen and homeware: 'Makers for Selfridges'.
Launched by Selfridges to celebrate the quality and craftsmanship of small, British independent brands, we are honoured to have been invited to join a carefully selected group of eight artisian makers to create a limited edition item for the range.
Our tea towel features an understated repeated dot design that took inspiration from our current dot collection. We worked closely with their team to make sure that our exclusively made product matched perfectly in colour to Selfridges' signature yellow hue which is prominent across the 'Makers for Selfridges' collection.
Made from 100% pure pre-washed linen naturally grown in Europe, each limited edition towel has been meticiously screen printed by hand in London; a traditional technique that perfectly captures the charm of this practical yet timeless design. Soft-to-the-touch and durable due to its long, hollow fibres this eco-friendly tea towel absorbs linen closely and is lint-free; making it a perfect addition to any kitchen.
Our 'Makers for Selfridges' Patterned Linen Tea Towel costs £18 and is now available to buy exclusively from Selfridges in-store and online, here.
British brands whom also contributed to the 'Makers for Selfridges 'include a wonderful array of talented crafters: Charlene Mullen; Another Country; Tempur Studio; Clement & Claude; John Julian; Oliver Harvey and Re-Wrap.
