We spend a third of our lives in bed (and maybe more, if you’re a napper)—so our beds should be the coziest nests they can be. Which is why we love these stonewashed linen sheets so much: No matter what color you get them in, they always look elegant, just-slightly-rumpled (akin to understatedly lovely bed head, we think), and will only get softer and more loveable with use. Each piece is sold separately and in a range of great colors so you can mix and match for a casual look. The pale blue duck egg colour looks beautiful turned over onto a Classic White duvet cover, or pair with Parisian Blue for a blue on blue contrast.
Also known as a top sheet, this versatile bedding can be used in a number of ways. Over the years we have found two flat sheets to be the best all-round bedding option. Top sheets tend to last even longer than fitted sheets, and it is best if they are rotated with the bottom sheet so that the bottom sheet does not wear out first. They are also perfect for warmer months, use a flat sheet instead of a duvet cover for a comfortable night's sleep. Finally, you can lay below the mattress to make a beautiful valance.

COMPLETE YOUR BEDDING SET
What are the most familiar embodiments of home? Is it a place or a feeling? For most of us, home is where we rest, find comfort and safety, feel welcome and receive nourishment. Home is a sanctuary and place to cultivate togetherness.
For us an essential aspect of feeling at home and finding roots is understanding and honouring the traditions of those who came before us.
Traditional practices are something we have always admired here at The Linen Works, and as we age and exceed ten cherished years in business, we value our long-standing relationships with the European linen industry and its skilled workers more than ever.
From field to fibre, from yarn to fabric, we continue to invest in this local fibre to bring the best linen into your everyday living.

The time-honoured, traditional practice of monogramming linens turns a household into a precious keepsake that can be cherished for years to come, while our hand stamping service is a fun and natural way to add a personal touch to our linens.
Popular choices for personalisation are names, initials, or memorable dates, allowing linens to be passed down generations. We particularly like the same thread colour option to match the linens.
